Medal QD Industrial Primers is a good quality quick drying steel primer suitable for the protection and decoration of farm & garden implements, steel furniture, plant and machinery.
Medal Zinc Phosphate Primer is a solvent based quick drying primer which is primarily used to protect mild steel surfaces against rust. This product promotes adhesion for subsequent top coats. Recommended for the coastal environment.
WHEN TO USE IT?
Ideal for metal surfaces, providing a strong and durable base coat. Perfect for steelwork applications, including gates, fencing, and burglar bars, ensuring enhanced adhesion and long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion.

Application: Interior & Exterior
Spread Rate: 8-10 m2 per litre
Packaging: 1L, 5L & 20L
PRODUCT APPLICATION
- Apply this product with a paintbrush or conventional spray
- Stir the contents thoroughly before use
- For spray application: thin down with 20% Medal QD Thinners
- Allow overnight to dry before applying the final coat/s of paint
- For dipping purposes, apply this product at 14-18 Sec/F4@25°
- Spray application: thin down for use with standard high-pressure spray guns – air pressure 3-5 bar.
