Medal Industrial Sanding Sealer fills open grain and smooths timber surfaces, making it ideal for furniture, ceilings, paneling, and cupboards before applying Medal Wood Varnish.
DESCRIPTION
Medal Industrial Monolac Wood/Steel Primer is a Nitro Cellulose lacquer
based primer that has high filling properties and promotes excellent binding
and adhesion. It has a smooth finish, and hides all minor imperfections on
wooden surfaces.
Medal Industrial Sanding Sealer is a silky smooth transparent wood filler
and sealer, which is used to fi ll any slight imperfections (open grain) in timber
before applying Medal Wood Varnish. A quick drying product suitable for all
interior wooden surfaces such as furniture, knotty pine ceilings, wood panelling
and built-in cupboards.
WHEN TO USE IT?
Medal Industrial Monolac Wood/Steel Primer
- Suitable for most types of wooden surfaces, providing a strong and durable base coat. Ideal for kitchen cupboards, general woodwork, motor cars, furniture, and other applications requiring a reliable primer for enhanced adhesion and long-lasting protection.
Medal Industrial Sanding Sealer
- Ideal for wooden fascias, knotty pine paneling, and ceilings. Perfect for sealing cupboards, wooden doors, window frames, skirting boards, and indoor/outdoor furniture, providing a smooth, durable base for further finishing.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
- Medal Industrial Monolac Wood/Steel Primer
- Stir the contents thoroughly before use. This product should be applied without thinning. Apply this product with a paintbrush or (mohair) paint roller, and allow 30 Minutes drying time between coats. Clean tools (brushes & rollers) with Mineral Turpentine immediately after use.
- Medal Industrial Sanding Sealer
- Apply one coat with a paintbrush or spray
- Stir the contents thoroughly before use
- This product may be thinned down by up to 15% with Medal Lacquer Thinners for spray application
- Allow one hour drying time before finishing off with 1-2 coats of Medal Wood Varnish
- Clean tools with Medal Lacquer Thinners
